so a year ago i put in the cheapo $20 bosch upstream o2 sensor and it would shake on cold starts etc and also it affected the way the tranny shifts. i have read on here the tranny not shifting good and slow throttle response from having that bosch sensor, well finally last week i was able to buy the acdelco o2 sensor from advance and the car is back to normal. it doesnt sputter and jump when you turn it on from cold starts and the tranny is shifting firm again and it moves again. so just wanted to post this out there for people dont be cheap and get $20 sensor the acdelco from advance is $35.

I've got Bosch sensors in my car and I don't have such problems. When the engine first starts the O2 sensors play no role in how the car runs until it warms up. When the car first starts it runs by parameters that are preset in the ECM until its warm enough to enter closed loop mode.
i AM not really a fan of anything bosch. I seen the same problem you had in a friends cav years ago.
Friends dont let friends use bosch.
