My odometer stopped working a few years ago. Just black and not lit up. I have tried to find an instrument cluster for my Sunfire but it is very hard because mine is a five speed and every one I have found at three local DIY yards are automatic and the clusters are different. My question is where is the actual mileage stored? If I get a good cluster that lights up the numbers on the odometer, will it then show the correct mileage? I am sure the mileage is stored in the computer so it should work?
