Sloppy Wheel
Thursday, April 26, 2012 9:20 PM
I was putting my summer tires back on and noticed an issue with my front right wheel. With the tire on the vehicle I grabbed the rim and tire and shook it to make sure it was not loose. The lug nuts were not loose but I did notice that the entire wheel slightly shook. It basically felt slightly wobbly. What could this be? I was thinking tie rod end but am not 100% sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Was it just side to side movement or up and down to? I would guess wheel bearing. Do you have any noise while turning or accelerating?

Its side to side movement (if your facing the wheel pushing and pulling). Nope, no noise while turning or accelerating; however, it does feel looser in the corners (she doesn't feel like she used to).
