Just two simple questions:
Why are my low beams acting like daytime running lights? They are the 9006 type (of course) but the funny thing is when I turn on my lows they work like low beams are supposed to and the high beams (9005 bulbs) work just fine. Arent the high beam bulbs supposed to be the daytime running lights?
Next question. There is a constant green colored indicator light on my dash. Is this green daytime running light indicator supposed to be on all the time and turn off when the headlights are activated?

kinda strange. i have heard rumors that you could change things like this to accommodate local laws with a tech 2.

Maybe you mixed your plugs up for the headlights, the plugs are interchangeable and you can screw the wrote beam bulb in the hi beam spot and vise versa

Never heard anything of that modification before. My lights work fine as do all my signals but I was just wondering why this is happening. Like Rob just said maybe it could be the lights in the opposite harness but I highly doubt that. I swapped the 9006 with 9005 bulbs on the drivers side and none turned on.
Well my 89 uses the same bulbs and i switched to 9006s for lows to make them bright but then I eventually ran HIDs
