so i was on my way home(miami) from orlando and i started to accelerate and my rpms went down. the engine was still running at the right rpms tho. i eventually reach a stop and while the engine was still on at idle the tachometer was reading as if the engine was off. the needle weent below zero. any ideas?
I have a 2005 Cavalier that's doing the same thing intermittently, and it could be a number of things from a bad ground or a bad meter. I don't know about any common problems regarding j-bodies and tachs which is why i'm on here in the first place, and i'll post back if I manage to fix mine.
