'00 5Spd...r u supposed to change the fluid???

Just looking over my owners manual and it says nothing about replacement the fluid in my manual transmission. I have a 2000 Sunfire 2200. Has anyone had ny experience with this? Which fluid do I use, synthetic preffereably. Any tips would be appreciated.

I have a 2000 cavalier with 130,000km and will be doing one soon, only to put in Mobil one synthetic
