Another front end problem - symptoms

2001 Z24 2.4L 5speed.

Ok so far this year I have replaced with brand new parts:

BOTH front wheel bearings
Rotors
Brakes
Struts
Upper strut mounts with 95-99 mounts

After all this, I took the car in for an alignment. It was done, I picked up the car, and my steering wheel was still turned slightly to the right (same exact position as BEFORE the alignment)

When I drive, and pull the wheel slightly, and quickly to either side (mostly to the right though) The car feels as if the body, and suspension turn at different times.

If I turn it to the left the same way, it doesn't do anything unless I turn far and hard (I assume to make up for the steering wheel not being centered)

The best way to really describe it, is that the front end feels a little loose, and not 100% responsive. It responds and steers fine, but the response seems delayed.

For example, if I turn the wheel, 1/2 second later the car seems to move.

When I grab the wheel and straighten it suddenly, it seems to float to the left and even out.

Any ideas?

My only thoughts have been my tie rods, or my sway bar isn't totally tightened down.

I know it's JUST a Cavalier, and I'm sorry if I hurt your ego.

sounds like it might be the bushings that hold the rack to the frame or the tie rods.
the swaybar does't have anything to do with the pulling so dont let anyone tell you it does. check the rack bushings and the tierods and that it back to the alignment shop
as they should have checked these out BEFORE they aligned it.

good luck

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
