I am trying to figure out how to remove the throttle cables on a 2.4l 2000 cav z24, I also would like to know how to remove the brake booster vac hose from the throttle body, it has 2 wierd clamps(fasteners) on it, and im not sure how to remove it from the throttle body. I need to do a serious cleaning on the throttle body. thanks

What are you idling at right now?

the cables will loosen once you take off the two passenger side bolts on the TB. the cable removes easily from the throttle plate actuator.

just use some needle nose pliers to remove the brake booster like. you can also use a flat head scew drive to loosen the clips grip.

Peace Out!!!
