Low beams/parking lights
Wednesday, August 03, 2005 8:12 PM
Okay, the other day I was coming out of work, and I noticed that my low beams and parking lights were not functioning. I've already checked fuses, and none of them are blown. Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this? I don't think there's a problem with the wiring, because when I hold the high beam toggle half-on, the lows turn on. My high beams function normally, and my running lights as well. Any ideas?

it's the signal arm.....on my '98 GT, the same thing happened...I had to use a piece of cardboard to keep the arm in the proper location until i got a new one from a wrecker and installed it....$30.00 at the wrecker (has the cruise built in) and 10 bucks for the steering wheel removal tool.....be careful when you take off the airbag, don't just pull the little plastic wire shroud out...twist and pull...if you break the horn ring it's an absolute P.I.A. to replace and it's $30.00!!!!!

^^^ Yeppers. Same on my '97 fire. Also, I'll second the twist and pull thing. Thats the thing I didn't do, and now have no horn... Like I needed it anyway.
