Pull out each fuse one by one and check to make sure that all of them are not
burnt...I used to just use a fuse test light but instead I just pull every fuse and see
if the fuse is still good or not. I did that one time and test light this one fuse..the
light came on...meaning the fuse was still good...my problem still kept happening..
so I just pulled the fuse out myself and saw that the fuse was burnt inside but not
all the way thru.

Fuses, even the ATC/knife type now used, can sometimes get a coating of oxidization which can prevent current flowing although all else is good.

My DRL/AC 25amp fuse once stopped working because of this, killed the lights completley.

Cleaned it up with fine wet and dry paper and worked as it should.

If this does not fix it take the fuse out and with a multimeter or a test lamp check you have around 12volts at the "hot" end of the fuse-holder-let us know what you have.

I don't have a diagram of the '97's to see if it could be a bad fusible link, but I think you would have more equip not working if it was

It could also be on the earth side, at least for the radio and the wipers.

Let us know what you find
