Has anybody had any oil pressure problems with the ecotec motor. I just hooked up an oil pressure gauge on my o3 cavalier and at idle it is reading 75psi. At 2000 rpm it reads 100 psi. I got the same reading from a mechanical gauge as well as the electrial gauge.
I get the reading when the engine is warm
hey guys just wanted to let you know that the ecotec motor is made to produce high oil pressure. After getting on alldata I found out that oil pressure @ 1000 rpm is between 50-80psi
