Theres a bolt on the belt tensioner pully that you have to get a wrench (15mm) on and push it either forward of backwards then that will take the tension off the belt. Just be careful its under alot of tension.

+ it is much better to go get a serpentine belt tool rental free @ my local autozone or advance auto parts store...

i put it on/off in only a few minutes... i jacked up the car, took pass wheel & fender liner off just to get more room to maneuver the belt around... used the tool to relieve the tension & slip it off...

that's if your car came w/ the 1 serp belt system...
