Just started more and more, when I brake, usually coming off of a highway, my car will shake. Only during braking though. Shouldn't be the rotors, I was thinking a tie-rod is going because my driver's side wheel turns side to side about 1-2mm either way... Any other thoughts on the matter?
how long ago did you did you change your pads for the front. Have you changed the rear? maybe be tie rod end
Pads are brand new, probably 1000 miles on them. It doesn't shake when I pull the ebake to slow down. I don't mean jerking it up, but you know just pulling up.

Warped rotors. Just because the pads are new doesnt make the rotors are new.

Had the same problem with new rotors before, replace them and more likely than not the shaking will go away. Drilled and slotted rotors warp easier than the the cheap ones.
Got a link to any aftermarket, OEM size rotors? Then I'll go from there.
Ebay has drilled and slotted rotors dirt cheap.

Unless its a well known name, i wouldnt trust my life in the hands of an Ebay Rotor or pad.

My cavalier is doing the same thing, my steering wheel shakes when I apply my brakes, And my rotors are warped.
go to checkers and they are 19.99 or 27.99 a piece. Took me 15 mins on one side.
Autozone's arent a bad price, its what ive got one mine. A set of Brembo slotted or drilled is about $150 a set.
first of all. make sure that all your wheel nuts are torque to 100 ft lbs. my car would shake badly after i installed new brake pads and rotors. once i got new tires, discount tire torqued them to 100 ft lbs and the vibration went away. i would definitely try that first before spending a lot of money on rotors. it couldnt hurt.
Peace Out!!!
I orderd some powerslot rotors off ebay $125 shipped

OE calipers eventually tend to stick. I had my lines all flushed and filled every two years, and they still went south. Rotors don't warp by themselves, unless they are subjected to a poor quality system (like OE GM's).
I also have Dustless Ceramic pads on the stock rotors (106k miles on them) so I bet the new pads are cooking up the rotors.
