I've noticed when driving by a building, or parked cars, that there is a squeaking noise coming from my car. I'm not sure what it is though. Any suggestions on what to do?
I'm thinking of having an oil change and a tune up this weekend, so I might just take it to the shop too.
Well first of all does youre car have hub caps? If some that could be one problem, That causes it, Some times the plastic lug screws become loose and cause the hub caps to squeek. I would take youre front tires off, And inspect the condition of youre front brake pads, They could be due for replacing.
Good Luck with youre findings.
Nah I don't have hub caps, I have rims. And I don't know if it could be the brakes or not, because it squeaks when I'm not using the brake.
My car does the same thing. I have it tracked down to either the tensioner pulley or the AC pulley as it only does it under high alternator load.
