got a 2002 automatic 2200 sunfire wont shift out of park when its cold until the interior temp warms up then it works fine
any help is appreciated

maybe the trans just needs a little heat from the motor to warm up and work..but either wya that shouldnt do that

One of my old cars had this to. Condensation built up on the contacts for the P/N safety switch and the PCM didnt see it was in Park, therefore not allowing it to Park. It could be your problem.
