I know this isn't the preformance section but I've heard alot about Cavaliers having too many electircal problems that can't be solved. Well I've solved it along with my boy Vue.

See after I installed an air intake on my 04 Cavalier, I noticed all my lights were dimming. I couldnt figure it out so I turned to my friend Vue who's a car nut. After many different theories he took a good look unedr the hood and realized that these cars don't have a good ground. So we ran a wire from the engine to the chasis and Baam! after that I'll my lights started working, my stereo system would actually stay on so now I can turn it all the way up. And now you can actually hear the intake breathing like the monster these Ecotecs are.

Try "STi JDM Style Universal Grounding Kit", Includes 7 Grounding wires and a titanium battery connector. Comes in different colors. I have red.

I put a ground kit on my 03 and it was a waste of time.
Man my boi and me put groundin kits on like a mutha'.
He straight looked into my monster 305 TBI and was like "DEEENG BOI, how many ponies is under dat"
I says "170 son"
He says "DEEENG BOY. HOWCOME IT SO LITTLE"
I says "CAUSE I AINT GOT NO GROUNDIN' KIT YO"
So ma boi and I puts a groundin' kit on. BLAM, my boy whoz is nutz about cars tolds me I gots to be pushin atleast 4,000 HP.
Now that's tizzight. I solved 'dat shiz.
Still doesn't hurt to have a good ground setup. Makes it look all peeerty under da hood. Dis way wes can alz getz to 4,000 hp LOL

i just partially installed a ground kit on my car...only did 4 grounding points, have another 3 to do, it started to rain...
anyways i started it up, starts much easier, and idles a lot smoother, i havent driven it around yet, so ill let you know after i get it fully installed and take it for a test drive
i installed another ground point today...totalling 5. I think im done till i get some more tools. After driving it...it seems to cruise much easier on the freeway, doesnt take as much effort to pass...Other than that and what i mentioned before thats about it...headlights are bit brigher as well
See people I told ya'll it does make a difference to have a nice ground settup. But no some people want to get all mean at good advice. Any way I got a new topic I'd like to talk about so keep posted.
