I just heard on the local news that us and people in Austin and Dallas are having rolling blackouts. Any of y'all had any problems yet? Fournatley I haven't yet.

yea we're having that problem down here.
on the radio ive heard they do a 15 min blackout in spots. it was in plano and arlington and a couple of other ones here
yup fort worth too... they went off and i rapidly ran outside hahah i thought they cut the electricity off
I heard it was going to happen in different areas of Texas. I got lucky my power never went out through the day. Have to see about tomorrow though.
right as i was about to say no the damn power went off call that ironic

Temple went out yesterday. Hopefully it stays on that side of town. I think they wuld have a problem if they turned power off round Fort Hood.
ok ok i'll admit it...it was me! i needed some extra juice for my labor-a-tory and accidentally caused the blackouts.
On the hottest day of the year there asking people to turn up/off there a/c's while there not home, yeah right.
my lights went off for about 30 minutes yesterday
i'm connected to the same power that goes to Texas Instruments so i highly doubt they will cut the power to my apartment or TI will be pretty pissed...to imagine all the cumputer chips that would be screwed up i would laugh but thats what i'm thinking.
