So bored, moved to new area a few weeks ago, have one friend down here besides the gf and i have the whole weekend off and she has to work. This is totally going to suck not to mention when I worked nights in DFW my 24mile one way commute to work from fort worth to grand prarie I was getting a little over 400miles to a tank and now that I am in san marcos commuting 31 miles to dowtown austin i can barely seem to break 350. I know this is because I went from night driving with almost no traffic and no ac to driving in rush hour both ways with the AC running after 5 because its to hot not to have it but this sucks. I know have to purchase another tank of gas a month and I am now having to get an oil change every other month. Is it worth changing my own oil to save money and is there anything I can do besides the intake and catback that I already have on my vehicle to save some gas milage. I have completely cut the AC off in the morning and doing it after 5 is not an option I would sweet so bad in that uniform it would be unbeleavable. Another thing I need to ask about are tires, what is a good brand to go with for my stock 15ich wheels that isnt going to kill my wallet.

tires you can check out that are cheap and pretty decent for the buck are the falken ziex ze512. they're pretty lightweight, as well, so you might see an improvement in handling, acceleration, braking...maybe mileage, depending.

i had 2 blow outs w/ my falken ziex512,thats a bad idea,they only had 12 thousand miles too.try kumho they are made by good year and are cheap i only paid like 82 bux for 18's which normally run me 115 plus

yeah i wold go with kumho's too heard really good things from them and what i'm planning to get as soon as i get some wheels
