man for that much, there is no way it is worth it, it may be a nice product but over 700 bucks for like 10 hp isn't going to cut it. my .02
I know out of the few people that have it a couple have had problems with the flex pipe braking and then the company did not want to replace it. I would go with the RKSport 4-2-1 header, it is only $450 from there site.
pacesetter header - $250

The pacesetter header is a 4-1 and the RKSport and Stans is 4-2-1 so it comes down to what you are looking for out of the engine. The 4-1 is for high end gain and the 4-2-1 is low and mid gain. Gravanatuning has the armor coated pacesetter header for $210 and the RKSport for $430 right now.

i have it. no problems so far. Looks good and has quality craftsmanship. I have motor and tranny mounts to help in solving the flex pipe breaking.

$700+ for a header on a 4cyl. is a bit much, hell i payed a little more then that for two headers on my 2002 trans am... i would say he is ripping you off big time.. and what gets me is how stanz says their header makes like 8 more hp or something then rk sports 4-2-1, but you would be lucky to even get 8hp from any header on a 4cyl. engine.... it is not worth it to me... even rk sport's 4-2-1 for $430 is pushing it for price on our cars... if you truly want a 4-2-1 go with rk sport... but if you just want a header in general to get rid of the stock manifold just go out and get pacesetters 4-1 armour coated header.. and if some one tries to tell you "pacesetter headers are crap" don't even listen. There is some one out there who will always complain about ever part out there and 90% of the time it is because they put the product on their car and didnt have a clue what he/she was doing and @!#$ it up some how.

screw all the companies listed above. Go with the weapon r.

i agree with him ... pacesetter is also nice.. weapon R is nice too. and your not going to paying out of your ass just for a header.

Re: Stans header

i had the Stans header on my 1999 sunfire 2200. it was a great piece. much better than the RK it replaced. i have an Iperformance 2 1/2" exhaust system(not installed yet), and the header to match it will be here on tuesday. yes it is expensive....however i am willing to pay the extra for a very good quality product. as far as what Freebs said about the headers for his T/A...as far as ive seen the v8 folks have it great...all thier stuff costs about the same as ours...only they get twice as much...2 headers for what 1 on a 4 cyl costs...same with pistons...8 for what we pay for 4.

It's a header/cat combo.

O noes!
Re: Stans header

yea sure its both but lets take a look... RK sports 4-2-1 header is what $430+ what $70 for a cat total comes to $500 for both... where as the stans header is $759 and its just a header. this quote i find very hard to believe as well "Stan's Header Made 5.1 MORE HP AND 5.4 MORE FT-LBS OF TORQUE than RK Sport at 4,600 RPM" when you would be very very lucky to make even 7hp from a header on our engines...so basically they are saying RK sport header makes 2.1hp.. hummm very unlikely... its just a header people... its not like we have big V8's under our hoods that gain like 15hp just from a set of headers... go out and buy a nice pacesetter or Weapon R header and pay like $200 and you i guaranty that the little amount of hp people will gain from spending $759 or even $500 over you will be so small you wouldn't even notice it.
