i'm doing the quad 4 HO intake swap and i just picked up a TB from a 95 Sunfire, it had the LO intake, But are the TBs the same?? (56mm)
That sounds about right. 56m is what I got on my 90 HO
yes all 2.3 throttle bodies are 56mm

not to jack the thread or anything but does anyone have a pic of an LO manifold next to an HO manifold other than the one that is offered on ny-jbodies?? im trying to convence a guy that he sent me an LO manifold other than an HO I wanted.

i could have sworn i have seen a different design on the 2.3 TB, can someone confirm this? i now learn they are both 56mm, but is there a design difference between the TB that go on the LO intake and HO intake

88-91 had a coolant passage in it but it was still 56mm (big and ugly), 92-94 for sure were 56mm as was 95 most likely.

Here ya go:
Top two are HO manifolds, Bottom two are LO. Top left is modified to fit 2.4 head, All the rest are stock 2.4 mani's. Bottom Left is the older style, bottom right is the newer LO style. Note that little "nut" there, and the difference in size of the log. (the part the runners attach to)
Here's a closer shot of the two log style manifolds. Again, HO on the top, LO on the bottom.
A pic of the other side of the manifolds. If you have the bottom one, it's definately NOT an HO.

You are the poo man. I looked for two hours the other day and I couldn't find any thing. I was almost convinced that I really did receive an HO mani. I did get the LO instead of the HO, he said he had pulled it from a 91 GTZ. I then told him that I knew what the difference was between the two and then I haven't received an E-mail sense. I found this guy from the classifieds so beware. BTW would you like to sell one of those HO manifolds??

No can do. One's my roommates, and the other is going on my car. You can have both the LO ones though, I'll even throw in the 2.4 flange.
