obx header - Performance Forum

I own a 99 sunfire gt a Im instaling an obx header but the ball of the header is hiting the bottom of the car. Has anyone had this problem. or does any one have any advice for me . help

4-1 or 4-2-1? did you make sure it's for your motor? where did you buy it from? and where is it hitting exactly?

Make sure it's the right one...

I have an OBX, and the ball of the header is probably at least 6-8 inches from the bottom of my car... I remember bitching about getting a wrench up in there to tighten the flange bolts.

4-1, 99 2.4, ebay, the header sits higher then the stock exhaust nomaly sets

nah dog something is definetly wrong there u probably have the wrong header becasue the obx headers sit way above the ground might wana check to c if u have the exact header for ur car. coul be a wrong shipment

ok i finally got it figured out the dip sick was causing all my troubles got it all tightene up and now to the exhaust shop we go to have my resonator and collector pipe welded on



Don't get mad at me becuse you car is slower then a sunfire!
