I installed the gauge and wired it to the O2 on the exhaust mani. It is making the car idle a bit higher and also it acts funny when you start up. Is there something to fix this or should i take it out. Also, when i idle it flots around, shouldnt it be at lean, and float when im crusin. THanks.

Spliced the wire covering, but not the wire. Then i just wraped the wire to the gauge around it. Then taped it.

There is only 1 wire off the O2 sensor correct? After the connector it goes purple and thats the one you splice into?

Fact 1:
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely

the second wire im told is like a warmer so if the sensor is cold it will heat it up so it reads exactly

i had the same poblem on my 96 2.2. I soldered the connection and everything. Car idles higher and surged at idle. Smelled like it was burnin really lean. If i cut the wire goin to the comp or the gauge it stopped right away. tried 3 gauges and no change. I just threw em out and forgot about it.
damn right that says premium biatch!
