I saw the DC Sports header for the ECOTEC and was wonderin if anyone knows if its out. Their website says "coming soon" but gravanatuning.com says available mid-january. just curious if anyone has tried to order it.
I think yes, the guy at the speed shop here was trying to sell me one, but the price was too high for ME!!! But I'm not 100% sure.
Yea, it's out and it doesn't include a downpipe to the cat, just the header, THATS IT.
yep, i had one for about 2 days before i sold it (never installed it). basically no down pipe and it goes to a 2" opening to connect to your factory down pipe. the quality of the header is excellent though.
$430 or something stupid like that for just a ceramic coated header, no b pipe? screw that. get any 4-2-1 header and have it ceramic coated. it'll be MUCH cheaper.

wow.... i didn't know there was no downpipe..... thats not worth the money to me. how bout the ceramic coated pacesetter. anyone had good experience with it. or the RK Sport???
I have the pacesetter ceramic coated header and I love it, it come with the downpipe. And for the price of a DC Sports, you can get 2 pacesetter
i think they had designs for the 2.2, 2.4, 2200, and ecotec, they have been comming soon for about a year now. i guess they finally fell from the sky, hell maybe the kw coilovers will come down next.

Pacesetter is the only CARB legal header for the j-bodies. I recomend the ceramic coated also. Let us know it you are interested we can get you a good price.

Don't exclude weapon-r. I have it on my ECOTEC and works great. Check out my page for pics of it. Never had problems with it. It's a 4-2-1 style by the way.
