Anyone here have any suggestions for a good performance alternator upgrade that would fit a Sunfire 03?

Thinking about replacing it with one in chrome. Just figured I could get a better one if I'm gonna be replacing it.

and you want to get one with high output, that chrome one is probably normal output, and probably won't even fit right unless its for a cavalier/sunfire. I got my 180 amp alternator for about $160. If you want the looks, after that you can take off the pieces and get it chromed. Someone on here did it to a stock alternator. Looks nice.

There is no commercially sold aftermarket alternators made for the eco at this point anything you get is going to be a custom job , you can get a rebuilt one from pep boys for a little over 100 and the quotes I had to rebuild one to about 200amps was about 250 so all together after shipping your talking 350-400 for this mod. To me its worth it cause I run a 3.8 Kilowatt audio system I just havent had the money to get it done yet
