I just got my 96 Cav. 2.2L and i was wondering what the best first 5 mods would be to do to it. So if you would share your top 5 and I will get to work tryin to fix her up. Just sold my 92 Ford Probe G turbo and I'm ready for some speed again.

hmm.... first thing you need to do is figure out the road that you want to go down with the car, such as boost or nitrous or what not. Then you need to to refer to the FAQ at the top of this forum for guidance from there.
ready for some speed? that 2.2 of yours aint fast at all. but you can make it fast with boost, nitrous, whatever.

that 96 2.2 is faster then the 2200 series, take the head to the machine shop and have them do a 3 1/2 angle vavle. Rk sport Pulley, intake, header then 2.25 back to some kind of straight thru muffler, and i can garantee u will keep up with ecotecs
