As some of you might remember I'm trying to reinstall my DIS2.. I used the FAQ diagram and got it installed (on a 2200). Unfortunetly, I have no idea where the original instruction sheet is now. There are four wires that go to the MSD box, two are obviously positive and negative wires, the other two are dark brown and blue. What do you do with these? Anything? If I remember right the blue one is optional, right? Oh, and anyone know how to set the MSD to retard my timing four degrees?
Also the car starts and runs fine, does that mean all is good?
if i remember right, one is a rev limit, and the other is a cut off switch so when its grounded it shuts the msd off....
msd has the pdf file you can download from their site, the entire instruction manual to double check.
never set the timing to be retarded, but if you dl the sheet it should have the settings on the setup for it.
yup as long as those 2 are not grounded you will be fine cause when they are the kill is on and the stage rev limiter is on
only reason I could see for you to retard it 4 degrees is if your running a 100 shot

75 shot actually....
Anyways, everythings good except my rev limit is at 3000rpm... gotta fix that.
on a 2200?, its your funeral

it can be done safely.....
its wear and tear, but anything accelerated on a stock engine will cause extra wear and tear... nitrous more so than forced induction. dont know if its built for it, but a few at cecil were running 75 shots every blue moon and fine with it.
if tuned right you can get away with the 75 shot on your 2200

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
A blown engine is just an excuse to do more mod's...
More like an excuse for an ecotec swap

Talking out of your ass, or do you have some proof?
