whats up everyone ,. i will be buying a header just as soon as my check goes through and i get the money . which shiould be bout 10 hours . its either gonna be a pacesetter or obx . armor coated for sure . i was just wondering who has it the cheapest ? and is it hard to install on a 2200 motor . i have a 2001 pontiac sunfire . i don't want to go on ebay . i just want to find a haeder for a good price from a good co mpany . right now i have motor mounts . intake catback exhaust . with 2 1/2 pipping and i will be getting a b&m shift plus in about a day or so . all i need now is the header to finsih my exhaust system . i have my body kit waiting to be put on but i have to wait til my fenderes come in . so which brand is better ? for the heaer i mean . and does it come with the down pipe and all ?

talk to jim at gravanatuning.com , or arron at turbo tech racing

Yea i agree with 97cavie24ls... i have bought a few things threw Jim at gravana tuning and he is a very good guy to work with... doesn't bull @!#$ you around like a lot of companies will tend to do... haven't actually ordered any thing from turbo tech but when emailing them with questions they seem very helpful.
Also start calling around to exhaust shops cuz once you put the header on you will want to get a exhaust put on.. or at least weld the header to the stock exhaust.. was only $300 for me to get a 2.5" header back exhaust with high flow cat and resonator in and i didn't notice any gains with just the header until the full exhaust was on

ok i have the cdat back already i'm running no cat just straight pipe to a straight thrue muffler . i'm doing this because i am gonna run a 75 shot of nitrous to it . but i just kinda curious as to which header is the best i guess u can say . any problems with them ?

if they are both the 4-1 then they will both be the same... i like the 4-2-1's personally but 4-1's work just as good... also i know when i put my header on my car and just clamped it to the exhaust it sounds like crap till it was welded on... But if the header is just 1 piece don't get them welded together... get an exhaust shop to weld on two piece that make it so you can bolt them together... ahah if that makes any sense..

average time is 1-3 weeks for the coated headers , if the coated header isnt in stock

i have the obx 4-2-1 for my 01 sunfire 2200...love it install was not hard, had to take off starter, alternator...i know you want to stay away from ebay but 155 shipped...not bad at all and it gives a pretty decent gain(for a 2200)...only thing i'd recommend that i didn't do is go to autozone and buy some ceramic coating and spray the @!#$ outta it cuz i now have alot of under hood heat.

yea i got mine off ebay, 165 shipped i believe. pretty easy install, except for me having to remove my cat because i broke the flange. but oh well, just a reason to get a magnaflow.
