So how does this work. On the web page its priced as 240.00 plus a 100.00 core charge. Does that mean i pay 340.00 then get instore credit of 100.00 dollars when i send them mine back, or do i pay 240.00 and get 100.00 store credit. Just wondering. Never delt with a core charge thing before.
that means you pay the 340.00 up front , then once you send your stock tb back to them you get the credit
if you have a extra tb , you can send in yours to get bored and save the core , but youd have to check with them to make sure thats ok with them
You can send a TB in to avoid core charges altogether.
Dose the 62mm TB come with all new sensors or do u need to change them over from the stock one?
You have to switch the sensors.
jw how do u change the sensors i think im gonna get one of those TB's too

torx bit and remove them ,and reinstall them in the new 1
they are pretty easy to change
anybody who bores throttle bodies doesn't want to deal with good sensors...bad sensors....so you keep yours.....you know yours work....swap out sensors when you get the new TB.......screws are torx.....T-15 and T-20 ....easy enough to do....

Ok so in theory could one say bore their own out? I mean it woudl be work i realize that but what would ya have to do? Find a bigger plate right? i have a throttle body sitting on my desk i realize i am probably over simplifying this but..... if its just a bore out.... couldnt ya just grind it out?
it would have to be machine bored (CNC or lathe not sure of which)
Im just gonna order one off of Revco from ebay. My buddy got one off of him and he said its great. I can get it for $193.00 when i get my core charge money back.
So what are ya saying i should put the dremel away?
