I just saw a Venom intake manifold VENM45-358R for 719.00 on sportcompactonly.com. Has anyone purchased this manifold or know anything about it. Is it top feed or side feed injectors. The only thing that i know about it is that u can bolt on a 63mm throttle body on to it.. Fits a 94-98 2.2 Cav and there is one for a 2.4 i think the same years. Is this better than making a top feed manifold? The also have performance fuel pumps for only 97 models 2.2 or2.4 VENHP745-200 199.99. I dont know about other years. Opinions on these products would be most welcomed.
I dunno about the 2.2L version, but the 2.4L one was just a chrome plated version of the stock one. It's still junk. Sorry.. it's overpriced junk.

Wow, I expected better.
First of all it's not "chrome plated", it's polished or anodized.
And how can you call it junk?

because for 700$+ you can get the Ho manifold, Secret cams, Engine mount and a nitrous kit witch will bring you over a 80hp increase. If he get that manifold, he may gain 5-10hp. Way too much for look. Everything Venom does is junk and overprice.

The runners are longer and it flows way better than stock plus it fits all throttle bodies upto 66mm. It is not junk but I can agree it is overpriced.

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50
Ok, it's a SLIGHT improvement over stock, but it's way overpriced for what it gives. The design is the same as the stock one (and to me, it looked identical!!!).
The stock design flows fine for stock... and a slight improvement isn't going to do much. Waste of money, IMHO. I don't have one, but I know two people who do and I can firmly attest that I would never buy one. It's a waste of money.
Most Venom products are seriously overpriced and not worth the coin. Compare the Venom nitrous kit to anything else. Or fuel rail. Same deal, not worth the premium price for less-than-premium performance.

Yeah I wouldnt have paid the retail either I got an insane deal on mine so it was definitly worth every penny I paid lol....but I would never EVER pay full price. it is a nice piece to look at too but to each his own right atleast its not as bad as the venom chip lol

I'll have pics in about a week and a half. Maybe video, and hopefully dyno. I agree it's way over priced. I got a sweet deal on mine as well. $600 for manifold , fuel rail, injectors, and pump. All Venom
Way Way Way toooo much for only 5-8 hp increase that Venom says it will give you.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
I paid $200 for mine lol acutally $400 with a venom chip and strut bar but I sold those for $200 so I'd say I got good hp for the buck lol.

$/hp no, but as I am going to be doing nitrous, and the great eco manifold, im seriously considering it, provided it has better flow, and less of a chance of puddling, still a f ton of money, but ill figure a way to justify it, maybe it will have to puddle first and blow mine off, then i for sure have a reason.... maybe i should take that comment back
