Man, when it comes to upgrades, I want all of them for my 1998 2.4L Cavy... but now that I'm looking at all of them, there is just so much I want! I'd like to see what the verterans of the forums here recommend to get started with upgrades. Keep in mind that my car is bone stock... Give me.... 5 recommended upgrades
intake, exhaust, header, for weekend stuff, or save your money and upgrade to a turbo.

mmm, Turbo... With the purchase of the Stage 1 turbo from JTuners, would it be wise to do other upgrades with that, or just bolt it on and go?
befor you go spending any money you need to learn alot more, research all your options so you dont regret anything, but yes a turbo will be the most bang for the buck, ( im not a fan of N2o)

I have been doing alot of researching... Still don't know as much as I need to know on my car, but that's why I'm asking here. I read through the Performance FAQ sticky, which helped a bunch, but I guess I like to hear more from others here.
Start with the exhaust that will give you the most noticeable gain right away. After that
do the intake. I say exhaust first cause if you do the intake first its atill trying to breathe thru that restrictive exhaust system and the poor thing wont be able to.
In order
1. exhaust ( whole thing if you can aford it header too and high flow cat )
2. intake ( any kind cold air or what ever it will be better then stock)
Then do whatever makes you happy the most.

2. go with header and 2.25 pipe exhaust adding cat/resonator/mufflers to choice
after that you could to a throttle body to help flow better
pulleys are pretty easy to replace and help out
motor mounts are easy to do and help transfer power down.

bang for your buck = nitrous as long as u do the plugs/premium fuel and use the proper safety things (wot switch, fpss, RPM switch)
Figure out what you wanna do in the long run though, if you want turbo, there is no point of getting a header and 2.25 pipe, save it for the turbo, or put it towards something that works both ways, maybe cams ground for turbos
pulleys are pretty universal, mounts as well, shifter, as well as TB

I'm not planning on Turbo or N2O at the moment... I'm fairly sure I'm going all motor.
I'm gonna go ahead and do an intake. Gonna grab the magnaflow single exhaust, and I suppose I'll get that when I can afford a header to go with it.

OK, I purchased the RK Sport single exhaust, the AEM short ram intake, and also an AEM power pulley for fun... lol that a decent start?
Well,
If your gona use that power pulley,
You're gonna want and underdrive pulley if you plan on using the stock belt.
RSM has the lightest one, or you can go RK sport, or Unorthodox racing.
