the car is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Gt w only exhaust and an intake plz help
well i have an air filter and exhaust one of my buddies figures it my injectors not being able to keep up wiht the air that its drawing. But gm thinks it may be my EGR, just looking for your guy's opinions, its really bad hesistation between 4000 and 5000, bogs horribly but continues to gain ground and speed
any thoughts, and if it is the injectors if ig ot some from a 3800 would it make a difference or should i buy new ones from online?
I wouldnt buy anything yet. Why dont you take off your bolt ons, and bring your motor back to its stock bolt ons. Then reset the ECU and see if the problem persists, then go from there.
go to a yard and swipe a new tps sensor....that should fix it......
as for injectors not keeping up.......lol
your tps-throttle position sensor
you give it gas and its fine but the sensor is proally burned out in that rpm tange and causing a failure....try that most lieky that is what it is

TPS sensor is attached to your intake manifold, near your throttle cable.
Reset the PCM with your bolt-ons and see if that helps.

Might be TPS, but not your injectors.

by steal i menat purchase jeez ppl its called im a redneck so by steal we mena got a good deal, when we say 5 finger discount i pay nothign plus he gave me it for free but it did not solve my problems so im going into GM on monday to get her checked out

they are going to charge you an arm and a leg. but hopefully they just diagnose the problem and we can tell you how to fix it cheaper.
