MSD for ECO - Performance Forum

MSD for ECO

Does anyone know the answer to this? If you install the MSD and convert to MSD coils and wires can you raise your rev limiter? Or does the computer still have controll over that? Thanks for your help.

the msd will not change your rev limiter thats still controlled through the factory computer only way to bypass that is to reflash the pcm

because you cut your injector wires off your ecu and wire it into the megasquirt therefor your ecu has no control over fuel and your rev and speed limiter are gone

That's a soft rev limiter.
