Comments welcome, would also like to hear from people with similar setups with maybe different resonators and mufflers. Im very happy with this, the resonator toned it way down and smoothed out the sound. Very pleased in the end with everything.
why does the graph stop at 5750 rpm when it looks like HP is still increasing? common practice is to dyno an engine all the way to redline...

i would have thought ur gains would have been more. with an intake and full exhaust setup. but congrats on ur gains, mustangs under rate your power a bit anyways dont they?

trust me it only gets harder
with full exhuast, intake, tb, cams, clutch and flywheel and pulley the most I put down is 149 whp with major ecu issues.. have fun after this

You may be bottlenecking or inverse botlenecking yourself with that resonator.
From my understanding, although the mounting diameters are 2 1/4
The actual inner diameters are all 2" or 2"1/2.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Scarab, Peak HP is at 5750, the motor ran to redline which was at 106mph in 4th gear, speed limiter is 109mph I think. The graph just stops at Peak HP, I know it looks like it should keep going up, but I watched the numbers while it was running.
Jersey Kid, Yeah it is a little raspy at times, but I realized the mic on the video camera is only picking up the mid and high end so you aren't hearing what it really sounds like. Any raspiness usually is just at WOT.
BlackNAcavie, Yeah I have been told Mustang Dynos under rate by as much at 15%, Im just really looking for a baseline, Ill take it back to the same place after doing any future mods.
QBE, Hoping to get to near 150 without cams is my goal, Hopefully we get some tuning software *and it rains gold nuggets. Next I want to do a port and polish, oversized valves and bore out my tb. If I did cams I would want something that will be mild enough for the GM SC which is down the road somewhere. All this makes me respect you guys running over 230whp a little more
Mastin, the core must be oversized, I looked in it and inner diameter wasn't less. Thanks for heads up I will check my product # and see what I can figure out.
That's real nice ! Who knows how much hp you would've got on a dynojet. I'd say you're close to 145-150 whp on a dyno jet. this means about 175 hp which is quite good.
I can't wait to have my exhaust done.

oh yeah, red line isn't at 106 in 4th, you're closer to 5500 actually when the fuel cuts. If you want the whole powerband in 4th, I think you have to do the vss mod when you dyno.

Also , i wasnt knocking the exhaust at all BlackEco ,sounds pretty mean , it just sucks that video cameras almost always distort the sound somewhat

I make about 3 more hp and 7 more fps of torque,
Using weapon R 4-2-1 header, custom 2.5" to an ebay muffler.

Sorry I know this is a stupid question but I can't remember what is the stock hp/tq ratings at the wheel for the eco. I'm trying to see how much he gained lol
and that at the crank not the wheels
i believe 4th gear redlined is around 118? someone can correct me if im wrong.
i beleive its more than 118 at the wheels. a 22 hp loss from the crank to the wheels? that seems too much. i bet it averages 125-132whp or something. and with the dyno under rating you a bit you have prollie a lil over 140+ at the wheels. cool.

I know in the LD9 the loss is about 14%. But mustang dynos measure HP at the wheels. Dynojets measure at the crank. The crank is where stock listing of HP comes from
^^^that's not true, dynojets measure hp at the wheel too, but unlike mustang dynos, they don't apply resistance to the wheels, and so they are always a bit higher numbers.
