throttle body

I have 2002 cav with 2.2L eco.

Doing my own intake within the next week or two, then hopefully the header and full exhaust. (Borjla).

Question is if it would hurt or help or neither to put a spacer in the throttle body or even upgrade. Or would that just be a waste of time and money.

To save some time just read this past post

and as for the spacer most would say it is useless unless it is pre fabed for nitrous as this way you wont have to drill your wai or cai.

A throttle body space on our cars is a waste of money.

Upgrading your throttle body to a bigger bored out throttle body isn't a waste. The gains are good and noticeable in the mid-range and you will notice how much faster your RPMs move.

I would suggest you get this after you complete your exhaust and intake so the gains will be more noticeable than if you put it on now.
