I'm just asking out of curiosity, All of you Californians etc etc who are forced to stay CARB and SMOG legal, is it at all possible with the 2.3L HO intake manifold?

And I know a few people fashion an intake using a rubber elbow and pipes. A self made intake you could say. How's that work out with Carb and smog without an E.O or CARB Number?

I'm just curious about all of this, thanks everyone.

From what i understand, you cant use older parts on newer cars. Now with you having a 01 cavi, you might be able to get away with it since you dont have to remove an egr (since you dont even have one in the first place)
