basically until the HP Tuners software comes out, there is no electrical tuning / performance for the 3rd gen J... an exception would be an SAFC.

The OBD1 computers are not as good as the OBDII computers...the OBDII comptuers are more efficient. The only advantage the OBD1 computers have is that they are able to be chipped and/or altered (for most cars).

Shawn Alexander, to answer your question, those products are crap and a waste of money. It acts as a resistor and tends to make the computer send more fuel....if you already have enough fuel this will make you run rich and have even worse gas mileage.

If you want to even see dyno proven "gains", check this thread out:
http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=2&i=317724&t=317724

If you are serious about fuel tuning, you should check out the Apexi SAFC-2 and Greddy E-manage but you shouldn't need them untill you start modifying much more (atleast finish all your bolt ons).
