so i got the K&N Air filter for my 03 cavalier and put that in no problem. but now i want to remove my intake resonator and the directions i got told me to remvoe the fenderwell liner but im not sure how to do this? anyone know how to do this?? Thanks
look at the fender well there are screws holding it on....remove em.
^^^ yup. And you're gonna need to buy about 8 or 10 replacement body retaining pins if you plan on putting it back in, cause the ones that are in there will all break when you pull them out- or like I did, when you hacksaw off the heads and push them through lol.
I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but at least I'm a pretty color
ok i got that off, and i got the bolt off that holds on the resonator but the washer fluid is in the way of removing it. what do i do???
do i need to take out the container for the wiper fluid??
Yes, It makes it much easier. They are connected with a bolt, or something of that nature. I cant remember for sure, but i removed it a year and 3 months ago.
BTW, If you find it really frusterating to remove, Walk away from it for a little bit, Then go back to it.
Most people find out that if you remove the headlight, and look real hard, you will find another bolt behind an electrical clip, holding it in.

the wiper fluid container is attached to the car with a bolt that i cant get to. So ill try removing the headlight and looking at it from there. i may just cut that bitch into pieces to get it off. lol...
you'll gain more power by just installing a complete aftermarket intake. K&N drop in filters don't do much. your S tube is still restrictive.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

ilve NEVER taken out the container for the washer fluid...
simply unbolt it from the resonator, and yank the resonator out.

Kinda. My current set up, Being VERY short has yeilded the most power so far. However, there is an expensive downside. My gas mileage has almost been halved.
