Are you asking about the sequence? If so this should help you out:

Make sure you use a set of new head bolts. These motors use Torque-to-Yield head bolts. What this means the bolts must streatch a precribed amount to seat properly and used bolts wont streatch the proper amount. You could try using the old bolts, but why risk a blown head gasket and/or warped head.
Tips: Make sure the theaded holes and the bolt head seat are clean, then put some moly based assembly lube(I prefer ARP's on any fasteners) on the threads and underside of the bolt head. This will give more consistant and accurate torque to the bolts. Run the bolts in figer tight and the tighten them a quarter turn at a time, until the proper torque is reached, to seat the head evenly.

not trying to be mean, just don't want someone else doing it to you, it's torque not torxs, torx are the star shaped drivers/screws used to hold in some trim panels, and other things that GM doesn't want the average guy getting into. torque is a measure of force being applied, measured in inch pounds, foot pounds, newton meters etc. and now you know, and knowing is half the battle

somebody please feel free to tweak this , been working in the heat all day.
