I have been searching for a while and can't find what I need. Not too long ago I read that I just needed 99+ ecu, 99+ knock sensor and 99+ exhaust gasket for HO manifold swap and that would help with the check engine light. Now I can't find anything like that anywhere. If I am wrong please list the right parts for the swap. I know that there is an easy way to do it but I really want to get rid of the EGR.
why dont you try ny-jbodies.org go to library and then click on ho manifold swap and it tells you everything that you need to do and all of the supplies that are needed. i did mine and i never had to change my ecu knock sensor or nothing like that..

I did read that but I thought that I could just get rid of my EGR without getting a check engine light.

Does the EGR simulator work right? I just need some feedback before I buy one. I have an O2 simulator and it works great will this work as well?

swapping intake manifolds is just one of those things that either works perfect or aways has something wierd happening with it.

I got the manifold to work. It took me a while and I had to drive the car around for about 15 mins for the computer to get use to the swap. I will be going to the track today to see if it helped any.
i got a ? instead of buying a simulator couldnt you just go to the dealer and get them to delete the egr code or is there any problem with that
