was just wondering cuz people have a lots of different ones, does it matter how big the wires are? i was told to get like atleast 10mm wires but most just have the 8.5mm msd wires. is it mainly whats on the inside of them or what? i just have some xact wires that were the cheapest at Advance but i have NGK Iridiums would it be better if i changed the wires out or no big deal? also i was thinkin about gettin some new msd towers will that help me at all in the long run or not?

10mm wires are pointless,really.

8 and 8.5mm wires usually have the lowest resistance most times... the bigger the wire doesnt mean its better. its whats inside the wire.

alot of companies simply put more insualtion to make a bigger wire... some carry larger internal conductors, but as it stands for most everyone who is basically stock ignition, its not gonna make any difference.

get a decent set of 8 or 8.5mm.

wires dont gain you power. just restore efficiency from old wires which have broken down a bit, kinda like how you replace spark plugs to gain efficiency back.

so it dont really matter at all which wires to get or which are the ones with the best core? what would be the least resistant ones?

isnt really a BEST core...

helical wound cores like msd do good.... but not really needed, accel universal wires are more than find for most anyone, even people with msd.

I have the Accel wires on my car. And honestly, I'd recommend MSD wires and coils to anyone over the Accel wires and coils.
