do i still need to drill holes in the 2.3 to match the 2.4?
also from a 1-10 (10 being difficult) how is the level of skill for a swap like this? i'd say im novice-intermediate if anyone is curious.
Having a Z is close enough to having an import.....

nope, the adapter plate eliminates the need for drilling. the installation difficulty is about... a 4 as long as you can remember where your vacum lines go

he is wrong, i have done it and use that adaptor plate, and you have to drill the holes for it to fit! for installation, it took me about 3hours and i took my time on it, didn't rush anything.
I'm not a mechanic and found it not so hard! if you have question, you can email me!
with the adapter plate you should NOT have to drill holes, otherwise what is the point of an adapter plate?

the adapter plate matches the ports to eachother. the bolt holes still need to be drilled. but that part is easy. once you get the adaptor just line it up with the ports and redrill a couple holes.

^^^^what he said!!!!!
Spotabee Racing: have you done it??
I did and you need to drill the holes, trust me!
no i haven't done it as I don't have an LD9. i was just using theory and my understanding of what an adapter plate should be used for. sorry for any false information.
