im looking for a pic of an exhaust that kind of bumps up right before the muffler, thus making the muffler face up towards the sky at an angle (i see them on wrx's all the time) just want to know what it looks like on a cav or sunfire

why would you want to put your exhaust at that angle? maybe its just me but exhaust is ment to be straight not point towards the sky you trying to stick something in the exhaust and shoot it up in there air lol. id say dont go for it unless your trying to see how far your going to launch something in the air then that would be funny.
stock cavalier exhaust points to ground...

yes thats is true a lot of other cars do to but why would you want to change it to face at an angle up is the question
i like the way it looks, like supra's and what not have it...all them drift races you see, most of them have the exhaust like that...i like the way it looks.

why do people do it, some cars need the clearance, however companies are now offering em cause its the "new JDM thing". pretty popular as ZOD said with subaru and mitsubishi evos.
but now its on supras, 240;s, everything.

this is something i was quite interested in and actually had my catback custom bent to come out at an angle. now, with a lowered car and that half circular shaped indention in your rear bumper where your exhaust comes beneath, then it's really really hard to do without making your catback pipe about an inch off the ground. i'll try and get a pic of how mine looks from the back just angled to the left and up a slight bit.

Ever thought that rain my collect in your exhaust? Also, how is the condensate going to escape?

enough exhaust flow and heat and things will naturally make their way out.
