another pulley question...

so i'm lookin into the cavalierconnection pulleys and it tells me i need a belt that's 2 inches shorter then stock. i'm workin on taking out my ac system right now... so my question is, since you can't exacly say i need a 2 inch shorter belt at a parts store, what belt worked from what car for a 2200 cavalier with out a/c?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah ummm good luck with that lol.... I had my belt off thought I would replace it but ummm yeah see they cant get them at AutoZone.... I was like what the cavalier is one of the more common cars around i thought... well anyway.... good luck

take your current belt off
run a string around the pulleys the right way
measure the string
subtract 2 inches
then go to NAPA etc
tell them you need a belt with X# of ribs and XXX inches long.
done

Why don't you contact cavalier connections and ask them what belt part # you need to use it?

RK Sport lists the part number for the belt on their website. Brand is Gates. It'll be the same thing

go to o reallys or auto zone and simply tell them a cavi with the a/c out. I did today and the handed me the belt. the have it in the comp.
