i am afraid if i put it on i will void the powertrain warrenty.
my car has 2,000 miles on it and the warrenty is only 30k miles or 3 years whichever comes first. and i dont see any engine problesm that could ppop up that soo anyways. so should i throw it on there or leave it off?
The way warranties usually work is if you have a problem, they have to prove your modification has caused you to have that problem. So if your transmission goes, they have to prove your intake caused it.
Now if you want to be sneaky about it, keep your stock pieces and swap it back in if something did happen (god forbid).

yeah like NJHK said...just keep your stock intake box and all its pieces...
throw it on before you report a problem...
problem solved...good luck with it...

That is what I did. Super easy to swap back and forth. I did mine in a park 20 minutes before I was scheduled to be at the dealer which was a mile up the road.
I'm gonna rebutle that with an another stupid question, what can you do to your car that is a guarantee that it wouldn't void any waranty? I mean if youre afraid that youre gonna void it by changing out only the intake, why bother then? right?
i'm not getting pissy, if it sounds that way, i'm just being curious cuz it's just not clicking in my head!!!

The only thing that I can think of is if you get an Authorized GM Part and installed at a GM dealership by a GM technician.
