buy it. take it to an exhaust shop. pay another $100 and have a custom catback done. all welded together.

clamp then take to exhaust and have em weld... should be cheaper...
i hate exhaust clamps personally. welding almost eliminates the possibility for leaks

same here, but clamping it first, you basically take the time to install it, its less time the shop will charge for....
like when i installed my header, quotes ranged from 2-400$ for install at various shops and then to weld it and the flex pipe, however
me installing it, taking out the alternator, etc, then clampiing it, i footed a 35$ bill since i did all the footwork, and all they did was lay a decent weld
I agree, clamp it then have it welded at the shop. Why? Like previously mentioned, it'll stop leaks. It should be more stable. And one very importnant other reason: theft. You may laugh now, but it wasn't that long ago I read about someones clamped TITANIUM exhaust being stolen off a parked car. Just food for thought.
you can clamp it then get some of that muffler wrap stuff to stop leaks.....but thats really ghetto and should only be used temporarily
