Ive got 01 Cavalier 4 spd auto, 124,000km's. Heres a list of work done:
full tune up : plugs / wires / air filter / throttle body has been cleaned.
Fuel Filter has been replaced.
Transmission has been serviced new filter and trans oil.
Ive also taken my cavalier into the dealer for my software upgrade.
I am not getting any trouble codes or Check engine light on, My cavalier runs great, Its just the throttle doesnt seem to be right, Well when I am doing 40 to 60 mph it feels like I am constantly having to push down on the gas peddle, Its basically like a bog out, Or delay in power. Its weird. Cause if I push the peddle down into passing mode it goe's. It feels like a lag, I dont have any Check engine light on. Some one I was talking to said it could be TPS sensor or the Intake air temperature sensor, Could be starting to fail.
Anyone have these problems please tell me what you think?
Was it acting this way before you did the tune up and everything else?

no it was working fine. It was doing before I took it to the dealers to get them to look into it, They said things worked great, my guess would be things work great as long as their is no check engine light on. (haha).

So it was lacking on the top end before all of the maintenance?

all the work was done before it went to the dealer, Cause if I would have taken it to the dealer without they would say that could be effecting it. I guess its normal to have a bit of lag or delay in those cars. Thats what the dealer is stating. I believe in my own opinion why the delay or lag, Is its a warn sign of a sensor is starting to become worn out. I guess I have to wait an see what happens.
