Hello,

I'm curious if there are any alternate alternators that will fit a 2003 2.2L ecotec.

The stock alternator is VALEO, the numbers I have here are:
GM PN 22683070
Valeo 2650014A

I need to make some alternator changes, and it would be easier with a DELCO brand alternator. Do all ecotecs have the valeo? What's on the solstice/sky? Will it fit the 2.2?

your looking for better than OEM standard alternators?

The simple fact is that the stock alternator has an input where the ECU controls the field. I'm looking for an alternator that will fit the place and just f'ing work by itself.
