hey i have the aem cai for the 2.2 eco and i remeber hearing somewhrere that instaed of leaving that piece of foam on the fuel pressure reg take a hose run it off of there and down to the intake manifold there is a rubber nipple to remove and place hose there is this right or wtf?????

Yeah just hook it up to there or you could tap the CAI and put it on that.

there's actually 2 little "nipples" that you can pull of on the intake manifold and plug a hose onto.

I've had the piece of foam on my FPR for over a year w/ no problems

Just wondering, what benefit do you get by running this hose from the FRP to the intake mani?

to get some gas milage back

with vacuum going to the fpr it lowers the fuel pressure , with no vacuum at the fpr , it thinks your accelerating heavy , and raises the fuel pressure

So eric, once I have my CAI on, all I have to do is run a hose or do I have to come over and have you vacuum the line?

just hook the line up to 1 of the 2 ports on the intake
