boost TB, invader hood rub

got a few questions here.

first, im planning on boosting, not a huge amount, certainly not enough for new internals yet. but is there a minimum size TB i should have when it comes to boosting? i was thinking 62ish, but i really dont know.

also, has anyone ever had problems with hood rub with bigger throttle bodies on the VIS invader? my hood barely closes as it is with the WAI, and there is a little rub.

the 62mm tb should be just fine for your eco. i'll be dropping in my s/c kit soon and i'm putting on the tb from rsm racing. as for your hood question, i'm not really sure. good luck bro.

Blown.

thanks, have fun with that s/c.

i was looking at the rsm TB as well. Im trying to get as many pre boost things nailed down as possible that will help increase performance as well. things like 3" exhaust will just have to wait i guess.

Agreed, 62 MM would be extremely well with boost, heck, any way of increasing airflow passage into your motor is good for boost.
