single, dual are more for show (lets the flaming start )

Apparently it's rumored that you may even lose some low end torque, not to mention the added weight of more piping and an extra muffler which adds even more weight. but it's still not that much.

yesterday i had a pacesetter 4-1 ceramic coated header installed, magnaflow high flow cat, and a magnaflow "rksport" single exhaust. im really happy i went this way, imo dual looks better but thats about as far as it goes imo.

dual! id only go single if your bumper has a cutout for only 1 (mostly cav's)

heres my srt-4 backpeice with custom catback

duel has more weight, more piping, and more noise
go single.

I've wanted dual, but I'm not sure if I wanna go that way or not. Does anyone have any pics of the actual Magnaflow dual setup? I've seen tons of pics of the RKSport version, but I don't like that style muffler. The Magaflow dual setup looks like it'll show less muffler and just the tips. Pics....Anyone?

Well besides the piping, I have Magnaflow mufflers and tips...basically that's all anyone sees.

Here are some pics:

Basically it all comes down to if you like the look or not. It won't increase performance by having 2 mufflers...it's basically a show kind of thing.

Duals for show single for go? I have duals the right side never gets as warm as the left so most of the exhaust is going out thru the left but I do like the sound from the duals. They sound better than my friends with the single muffler.Imo.

I have the single Thermal Research setup and I love it.

My brother has the dual and he likes it. (is seeing his performance cost from going dual instead of single.)

However the dual does have a good bit more growl than a single will give you.

Here's what I did with my exhaust setup:

Basically, the muffler I used was a single in / duel out. And the pipe that goes accross dosen't really show unless your nealing down by the car. I have the magnaflow part numbers in my regestry ...

The only problem I have is i "think" the driver side tip is pulling in some air... The passenger tip has almost twice the flow & leaves about twice the soot on the tips...

Actually, Even on FWD vehicles, a spoliler helps you with slightly better turning and possibly a bit more with aerodynamics.

The black one is the RK Sport Spoiler, it was designed to work with the stock spoiler. Without it, it looks EWWW In my opinion.

Glad you like the tail lights.

You only have 4 cylinders, and one header, you onyl need one muffler.

I hate my sunfire's complete back end. It looks retarded. What bumper do yo uhave on your car? It looks a ton better than the stock one on my 96 daily driver.

Girls suck, buy a fast car.
